Service Description
We carry out technical inspection of load-bearing and enclosing structures of existing buildings to assess their technical condition, identify buildings and elements in emergency condition, and determine whether a building is suitable for reconstruction, capital repair or energy-efficiency retrofit. The inspection is performed in accordance with ShNK 1.04.01-23 and the seismic requirements of KMK 2.01.03-19 “Construction in Seismic Areas”.
The scope typically includes:
• Review of design, as-built and technical documentation, and archival records of repairs and alterations
• Visual inspection of foundations, walls, reinforced concrete, steel and timber structures
• Instrumental measurements: crack widths, deviations from vertical, deflections, and non-destructive testing of concrete strength
• Preparation of defect registers with photographic records
• Assessment of compliance with seismic safety requirements and assignment of the building condition category
• Preliminary cost estimates for structural strengthening and definition of the scope of detailed instrumental inspection
The results support investment decisions under building renovation programmes, including energy-efficiency projects for schools, kindergartens and healthcare facilities.
